Do you like proffesional football? Don't miss the New Orleans Saints.
The
New Orleans Saints
have had many dissapointing seasons,
however, the fans of New Orleans are still around. Why? Pride.
The city has been through alot in the past few years and since the
devestating Hurricane Katrina, the Superdome of New Orleans has
offered a place to get away for a little while and be able to
enjoy themselves.
In 2006, Sean Payton took over as head coach of New Orleans and he had a plan. He made several tough decisions but he helped rebuild the team that the city so desperatly needed.
The Saints were fortunate enough to get Heisman Trophy winner
Reggie Bush, the Quarterback that everyone thought wouldn't recover,Drew Brees, the wide reciever that nobody knew, Marques Colston, and still had veteran team players to work with like Deuce McAllister.
New Orleans had a dangerous offensive group. The team went on to win the season championship in the west. They made it farther than they ever had before.
In 2007, the team didn't do so hot. Plagued by many injuries, by the end of the season, they were down to the fourth-string runningback. The fans were still there. Check up on
the teams news here.

Coming into the 2008 season, the team has made a lot of changes on defense by picking up Defensive Lineman, Sedrick Ellis, out of USC, where he dominated the interior. They also signed Jonathan Vilma, from the Jets, at linebacker, so with him and Scott Fujita, they should be plugging up holes and also have the speed to cover the short passes. Randall Gay also came over from the Patriots, to give a little help in the defensive backfield.
